William Rodriguez of the WTC tours the UK, Febr. 2007
As New York came under attack on September 11, 2001, janitor William Rodriguez bravely remained in the North Tower to help save dozens of lives. He has been honored five times by the White House.
After the 9/11 attacks, William helped coordinate the efforts of survivors' and victims' families to lobby the US government to hold an inquiry into what happened that day. When he came to give evidence, he was one of the only witnesses the 9/11 Commission heard behind closed doors.
William will be telling his story, recounting why he ran into the buildings while others were running out. He will also explain why survivors and victims' families are unhappy about the way 9/11 is being used to justify the War on Terror.
A detailed schedule of William's appearances in the U.K. is HERE.
